Where the manatees are

Florida has many seasons (for example: hot, pompano, hotter, hurricane) but my favorite is definitely manatee season. We’re not there yet, but when the temperature starts to dip, the beasts will hover around warm water, jostling for hot tub jets, and that’s certainly worthy of a pilgrimage. My fav place to see them is Blue Spring State Park. I watch the manatee cams from home, too. One year I saw a mama birth a calf!
